Nous appelons tous les partisans de la justice à se rassembler devant le consulat d'Israël pour dénoncer les crimes de guerre israéliens à Gaza et en Palestine en général.

Amenez des chandelles, des enseignes, des banderoles. Soyez-y à 17h30 pile.

Nous affirmons que les causes fondamentales de la situation actuelle résident dans les violations systématiques par Israël du droit international et des résolutions de l’ONU: 

• droit de retour des réfugiés palestiniens (résolution 194) • occupation qui dure depuis 1967 (résolution 242)
• colonisation continue des terres palestiniennes (art 49 IVe Convention de Genève) 
• blocus illégal et inhumain de Gaza depuis 7 ans (Déclaration universelle des droits de l’homme, 

Conventions de Genève, Pactes internationaux relatifs aux droits civils et politiques, économiques, sociaux et culturels ) 

• politiques d’apartheid (Convention internationale sur l’élimination et la répression du crime d’apartheid 1973)

Nous appuyons le droit du peuple palestinien à la résistance selon les moyens qu’il choisit lui-même et dans le respect des conventions internationales qui régissent les conflits armés dont entre autres la protection des civils.

Nous soulignons le 10e d’apartheid qui est un outil d’annexion de terres palestiniennes, de pillage de ressources naturelles et de déplacement de populations. CE MUR DOIT ÊTRE DÉTRUIT!

• À SOUTENIR ACTIVEMENT LA CAMPAGNE DE BOYCOTT, DE 
DÉSINVESTISSEMENT ET DE SANCTIONS (BDS) CONTRE ISRAËL

• À DÉNONCER LES POSITIONS HONTEUSES DU GOUVERNEMENT HARPER ET DES PARTIS D’OPPOSITION

• À EXIGER LE RESPECT INTÉGRAL PAR ISRAËL DU DROIT INTERNATIONAL

Vigil for Gaza
at the Israeli Consulate

When: 5:30PM - Friday July 25
Where: Wood Avenue north of St. Catherine (one block west of Atwater - metro Atwater)
What: Candle Vigil

We call on all Justice defenders to show up at the Israeli consulate to denounce Israeli war crimes in Gaza and Palestine as a whole.

Please bring candles, placards and signs and be there 5:30 sharp.

We affirm that the fundamental causes of the current context lie with in the systematic Israeli violations of international law and UN resolutions:

• The right of return for all Palestinian refugees displaced since 1948 (resolution 194)

• The occupation of West Bank, Gaza Strip and Golan Heights that began in 1967 (resolution 242)

• The continued colonization of Palestinian lands in the occupied territories (art 49 of Geneva Convention IV)

• The continued illegal and inhumane blockade of Gaza for the past 7 years (universal Declaration of human Rights, the Geneva Conventions, the International Covenants on Civil and Political Rights, Economic, Social and Cultural)

• The illegal construction of the Apartheid wall which was declared illegal 10 years ago this month (Judgment of the International Court of Justice on 7th of July, 2004)

• Israel’s apartheid policies (International Convention on the Suppression and Punishment of the Crime of Apartheid 1973)

We also affirm our support for the Palestinians’ right to resist by whatever means they choose within the international conventions governing armed conflict which among other things includes the protection of civilians.

So join us to:

• STOP ALL AGGRESSION AGAINST GAZA
• STOP THE BLOCKADE OF GAZA.
• END THE OCCUPATION AND THE SETTLEMENTS
• END ISRAEL’S POLICY OF APARTHEID
• FREEDOM FOR ALL PALESTINIAN POLITICAL PRISONERS
