Charest

Your budget is making us poorer

While your friends are getting richer

OUR GOVERNMENT IS DEAF:

WE NEED TO TURN UP THE NOISE!

WHERE: 500 René-Lévesque O.

WHEN: 11:45am 23 NOVEMBER 2010

Anger is spreading throughout Quebec: corruption, the shale gas affair, unfair measures contained in the last budget. Everywhere, people are feeling ignored and despised by their own government.

The Charest government continues to make CHOICES. It refuses to redistribute wealth, it refuses to reduce inequality while also refusing to attack the privileges of a small minority. The result: the middle class and people already living in poverty are forced to pay for the economic crisis, a crisis created by our economic and political elite, the same elite now telling us to tighten our belts.

The coalition against user fees and the privatization of public services will continue to maintain pressure on the government in order for it to come to its senses: people are fed up with policies that are unfair and make us all worse off.

We say NO to

We remind the government that it could have, and still could, make other choices:

Yes, we want quality public services, accessible to all and paid for fairly. Yes, we want social programs that respect our human dignity and permit people to escape poverty.

STOP CHAREST NOVEMBER 23RD !
