Whereas the one and a half day Education Summit organized by the government does

not provide sufficient time to discuss the issues that threaten Quebec’s education system 

including, but not limited to, the following: the privatization of education, the mismanagement of 

education resources, unequal access to institutions of learning based on gender, race, class, 

ability;

Whereas the Quebec government has chosen to exclude the discussion of free education within this 

summit;

Be It Resolved That Geograds participate in a one day strike on the 26th  of February,

2013.
