Bonjour Camarades,

Le conseil exécutif convoque par la présente le congrès Hivernal de l'ASSÉ, qui aura lieu les 24 et le 25 Février prochains dans un lieu qui sera bientôt annoncé, mais qui ne sera pas à Montréal.

Vous pouvez envoyer vos propositions, avis de motion ou demandes pour le Fond d’entraide à l’adresse suivante : webmestre@asse-solidarite.qc.ca. Ci-dessous, les délais pour chacune des propositions :

Prenez note que toute proposition peut être amenée en Congrès, mais qu’elle peut être mise en dépôt au tiers des voix si elle n’a pas été déposée dans les délais précédents. De plus, des avis de motion peuvent être déposés durant le congrès ; ils pourront alors être traités lors du prochain congrès.

Nous invitons les associations étudiantes à produire un bilan de leurs activités avant le Congrès et à l’inclure au cahier de préparation, ce qui facilitera le déroulement du congrès. Le Conseil exécutif, ainsi que les différents Comités, produiront aussi un bilan textuel. Naturellement, il y a aura une présentation pendant le Congrès du travail du Conseil exécutif et de chacun des Comités, suivie d’une période de questions et réponses.

Nous vous rappelons qu’il est primordial de vous inscrire afin que nous puissions préparer la bonne quantité de nourriture. Nous vous informons que le conseil exécutif n’achètera pas de nourriture supplémentaire durant le congrès. Donc, si vous voulez être certain-e-s de manger, votre délégation doit être inscrite, ici :

Hello Comrades,

The Executive Council hereby convenes the Winter Congress of ASSÉ, which will take place on February 24th and 25th in a place that will be announced shortly, but will not be in Montreal.

You can send your proposals, notices of motion or requests for the Mutual Aid Fund to the following address: webmestre@asse-solidarite.qc.ca. Below, the deadlines for each of the proposals:

    Candidacy for a position on the executive council: Friday, February 9, 2018
    Application for a position on a committee of ASSÉ: Wednesday, February 21, 2018
    Notice of Motion Deposit: Friday, January 26, 2018

Note that any proposal may be brought to Congress, but may be tabled for one-third of the votes if it has not been tabled in the previous time. In addition, notices of motion may be tabled during the convention; they can then be treated at the next congress.

We invite student associations to produce a report of their activities before the Congress and to include it in the preparation booklet, which will facilitate the progress of the congress. The Executive Board, as well as the different Committees, will also produce a textual report. Naturally, there will be a presentation during the Labor Congress of the Executive Council and each of the Committees, followed by a question and answer period.
We remind you that it is important to register so that we can prepare the right amount of food. We inform you that the Executive Council will not buy additional food during the congress. So, if you want to be sure of eating, your delegation should be listed here:
