FAITE-NOUS SIGNE !
Si vous êtes de celles et ceux qui se sont fait arrêter, que ce
soit en vertu d’accusations criminelles, d'un règlement Municipale
ou encore d'un règlement en vertu du code de la sécurité routière,
faites-nous le savoir. Nous souhaitons organiser une rencontre
avec toutes les personnes arrêtéEs afin d’informer et discuter de
la contestation de ces contraventions. Nous voulons aussi appuyer
le travail de l'avocat en charge des accuséEs au criminel. Nous
avons besoin de vos coordonnées (nom, numéro de téléphone,
courriel, date de naissance, numéro d'événement, type
d'infraction, lieux de l'arrestation etc.).
CONTESTEZ VOS TICKETS !
Vous avez 30 jours après l'événement pour le faire, (voire l'endos
du ticket). Cochez la case non-coupable et n'inscrivez rien au
plaidoyer (c'est de l'information facultative qui ne servira pas
votre cause). Avisez la Cour Municipale de tout changement
d'adresse. Communiquez avec le COBP de tout changement de vos
coordonnés.
SI VOUS AVEZ ÉTÉ VICTIME OU TÉMOIN DE BRUTALITÉ POLICIÈRE
Veuillez nous envoyer un compte-rendu détaillé de l'événement (en
indiquant le lieu (intersection), l'heure, les témoin(s)
présent(s), le type de policiers (SPVM , en civil, anti-émeute,
etc.).
S'IMPLIQUER POUR LA DÉFENSE DE LA LIBERTÉ D'EXPRESSION
L'offensive policière qui a été menée contre la journée
internationale contre la brutalité policière constitue une grave
menace à la liberté d'expression et le droit de manifester et il
est impératif de se battre pour que cette intervention ne crée pas
un dangereux précédent. Or, le COBP ne peut parvenir à mener une
lutte efficace sans la participation active des arrêtéEs et des
témoins de l'évènement. Si vous souhaitez vous impliquer dans la

DEMONSTRATION ON MARCH 15 2012?

If you were amongst the people who were arrested, be it for
criminal charges or for a ticket, let us know. We want to organize
a meeting with all of the people who were arrested in order to
share information and to discuss how to contest the tickets and
charges collectively. We also want to support the work of the
lawyer of those charged with criminal offenses. We need your
contact infos (name, phone number, email, date of birth, event
number, type of infraction, place you were arrested, etc.).
CONTEST YOUR TICKETS!
You have 30 days after the event to do this. Check the not guilty
(« non-coupable ») case behind the ticket and don't write anything
in the « plaidoyer » (plea) section -it is optional information
that will not help your case. Let the Municipal Court know of any
change of address, and also let the COBP know of any change in
your contact info.
IF YOU WERE A VICTIM OR A WITNESS OF POLICE BRUTALITY
Please send us a detailed report of the event (indicating the
location (street corner), the time, the witnesses, the type of
cops (SPVM, undercover, anti-riot, etc.).
GET INVOLVED IN DEFENSE OF THE FREEDOM OF SPEACH
The police assault that took place at the international day
against police brutality is a serious threat to the freedom of
speech and the right to protest. It is necessary to fight this
intervention so that it doesn't create a dangerous norm. But, the
COBP can't lead this struggle without the active participation of
the people arrested and the witnesses of the event. If you wish to
get involved in the defence, let us know.
HAVE YOU GOT PHOTO OR VIDEO EVIDENCE?
If yes, send it to us by email or contact us directly. Our goal is
not to publish it but to eventually use it as evidence against the
police.
