Rassemblement/Vigile ce soir à Montréal English will follow

Hier après-midi, un cycliste a été grièvement blessé dans le quartier Saint-Roch à Québec après avoir été percuté par une auto-patrouille du SPVQ. Les circonstances de l'incident sont encore incertaines, mais les témoins affirment que la voiture de patrouille aurait volontairement happé le cycliste, et par la suite les policiers auraient quitté les lieux en déplaçant l'homme et en emmenant le vélo dans le coffre de leur voiture, détruisant ainsi la scène de crime. Guy Blouin a succombé à ses blessures quelques heures après l'incident.

Une vigile est organisée ce soir 4 septembre à 20h au parc Émilie-Gamelin pour dénoncer l'incident et demander à ce que justice soit faite, pour cette victime et pour toutes les autres.

 Vigil tonight in Montreal

8pm at Émilie-Gamelin Park 

Yesterday afternoon, a cyclist was seriously injured in the St. Roch neighborhood in Quebec City after being hit by a patrol car of the SPVQ. The circumstances of the incident are still unclear, but witnesses say the patrol car wanted to catch the cyclist, and then the police left the scene after moving the man and taking the bike in the trunk of their car, thereby destroying the crime scene. Guy Blouin succumbed to his injuries a few hours after the incident. 

A vigil will be held tonight September 4 at 20h at Émilie-Gamelin Park to protest the incident and demand that justice be done for this victim and all others.
