Dear all,

The GSA met on Tuesday, February 19 at a special General Assembly and
passed a motion to boycott, mobilize, and strike against the upcoming
Quebec Summit on Higher Education (Monday, February 25 and Tuesday,
February 26, 2013). *See the motion below

The AHCS GSA will be on strike Monday, February 25 and Tuesday, February 26.

The GSA is organizing a casual flyer hand-out and banner display
session on the steps of the Arts building on Monday, February 25 at
noon.

Please note that the AHCS GSA sponsored activities do not include the
picketing of classes.

Also, as new members of ASSÉ, you are invited to come march against
the summit on Tuesday, February 26, at 2:00 pm (starting at
Square-Victoria).

AHCS-GSA Quebec Summit on Higher Education Boycott Motion (passed
Tuesday, February 19th, 2013):

WHEREAS the AHCS-GSA voted on February 12, 2013 to boycott the Quebec
Summit on Higher Education.
BIRT the AHCS-GSA will go on strike Monday, February 25, to Tuesday,
February 26, 2013, to boycott the Quebec Summit on Higher Education;

BIFRT the AHCS-GSA will mobilize its members for the ASSÉ march
against the summit at 2pm on Tuesday, Feb. 26, leaving from Square
Victoria;

BIFRT the AHCS-GSA will consider going on a general unlimited strike
if tuition increases or in the case of indexation.
