****ENGLISH BELOW****
envoyer vos textes à antiraciste(a)asse-solidarite.qc.ca.
Solidairement,
Le Comité Antiraciste de l'ASSÉ

Dear comrades of color,
We wish to hear your voices, too often silenced by the whiteness of the student movement
and the colonialist society in which we live. We're launching a call for papers, in
the form of testimonials. They can be short or long, there's no word limit.
Let loose! Tell us about your experiences in the student movement or in life in general as
a racialized person, PoC, Indigenous, or immigrant. These texts can be anonymous or signed
with a pseudonym. You can freely talk about everyday racism, the invisibilization of
racialized people's involvement, of our erased cultures, of economic inequality, of
workplace discrimination, of ways to organize and struggle, and much more.
The idea is to present a collection of testimonials to the ASSÉ Orientation Congress this
December 3rd and 4th. We seek to reiterate the need for an ad hoc Anti-racist Committee,
but also to broaden the discourse so as to include our issues and realities so that they
may be given the importance they deserve.
The deadline is November 20th, so that we may format the document and give student
associations the time they need to consult it before the Congress. You may send your texts
to antiraciste(a)asse-solidarite.qc.ca. If you're a white person reading this, be an
ally and share this information!
In solidarity,
The ASSÉ Anti-racist Committee
