Il s'agit d'un événement historique, les mouvements de solidarité, les associations pour les droits de l'homme, et les mouvements pour la justice sociale qui agissent en différents endroits du monde, convergeront dans le cadre de nombreux débats d'idées, partages d'expériences et mise en réseaux. Ce sera aussi l'occasion de réfléchir stratégiquement au lancement de différentes campagnes pour faire avancer la solidarité avec la lutte de libération palestinienne. Beaucoup d'efforts ont déjà été fournis pour créer les bases d'un FSM « Palestine libre » puissant et efficace.
